This year is I am bound and determined to try to adventure out of my bubble a bit. Try new things.
The first order of business was getting my own studio space. I have wanted a space to grow and allow new opportunities for quite some time now, but it never seemed to be "the right time." Well now seems to be as good of a time as any. So I took the leap and signed in on an amazing space down in the west bottoms with another amazing photographer. We are currently renovating the space to make it our own. It will be AMAZING!

We have two rooms in the space. We plan to eventually cut a hole in the wall seperating the two rooms and open it up with a gorgeous sliding barn door. Until then, we just have to walk out into the main common space and into the other room. The building has so many neat characteristics as it was an old burlap sac factory. So much natural light and original hardwood floors. Its a photographers dream! Now to just get these floors clean and walls painted!

Each room will have a different theme to it. Once will be a lighter airy look and the other a bolder statement room. Slowly acquiring some gorgeous furniture statement pieces along the way. I already have my antique red love seat to bring in!

My second adventure for the first month of the year.... BLOGGING. I am terrified to spill my guts out to you all. But here I am. I put on my big girl panties and created a blog! So bare with me as I am sure to ramble about who knows what!
Next on my list? Getting my images ready to help open a new OB office in Blue Springs,MO. I was so honored to be asked to donate images for the hallways and exam rooms of the new clinic. It was so hard to choose which images to get ready to print. But what an amazing opportunity for myself and my clients!
